«Interior»: Egyptian suspect arrested in a premeditated murder case, with two residents as victims - Sarmad

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations, arrested an Egyptian national in connection with a premeditated murder case that claimed the life of a resident in the Kabd area of Al-Jahra Governorate. This arrest followed intensive security efforts that led to identifying, tracking, and apprehending the suspect while he was attempting to flee the country.
The incident details trace back to a report received by security authorities alleging an assault inside one of the traditional fishing boats (jauq) in the Kabd area. Authorities immediately dispatched specialized units to the scene, where it was discovered that residents had been stabbed and subsequently died from their injuries. Search and investigation teams launched procedures to uncover the circumstances of the incident and identify the perpetrator. Additionally, the murder weapon was found near the site.
Through intensified search and investigation efforts and the collection of evidence, investigators were able to identify the suspect and track his movements. In coordination with the General Directorate of Land Border Security, the suspect was located in the Rutqa area while attempting to escape the country by crossing the border fence. He was apprehended and handed over to the competent authorities to take all necessary legal actions against him.
