Turkey revokes citizenship from 6,134 individuals who obtained it through the investment program - Sarmad

The Turkish Ministry of the Interior announced the cancellation or revocation of Turkish citizenship grants to 6,134 foreigners after discovering irregularities in some naturalization files through investment, as well as cases linked to national security and public order considerations.

The announcement followed a security operation conducted in 18 provinces targeting a network suspected of preparing fake property valuation reports used to illegally obtain Turkish citizenship, resulting in the arrest of 72 suspects.
