Qatar condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia's Najran region - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Qatar condemned on Friday the Houthi attacks on the Najran region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in injuries to several civilians. Doha described the attacks as a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty, a flagrant breach of international law, and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a statement Qatar’s complete rejection of the targeting of civilians, civilian objects, and vital facilities. It also reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to safeguard its territorial integrity, security, and stability.

The ministry expressed Qatar’s wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured, praying to God Almighty to protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people from all harm.
