Kuwait: Houthi militia attacks on Najran constitute a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty - Sarmad

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks launched by the Houthi militia on the Najran region in Saudi Arabia, which targeted civilian infrastructure and resulted in injuries to several innocent civilians. This constitutes a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a breach of international law and international humanitarian law, and an escalation that undermines regional security and stability.

The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia, its steadfast support, and its backing of all measures undertaken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, preserve its security and stability, and protect its people and residents on its territory. It emphasized that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
