Pakistan announces death of 10 militants in two separate clashes in the north of the country - Sarmad

The Pakistani military announced on Friday that at least ten militants were killed in two separate clashes with security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the north of the country.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistani military said that a group of militants attempted to attack security checkpoints in the Azam and Rissak areas of South Waziristan Agency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the first clash.

It confirmed that Pakistani forces successfully thwarted the attack and engaged the militants, noting that the exchange of fire resulted in the deaths of eight militants.
