Agreement between Disney and TikTok to produce short videos - Sarmad

Disney announced that it has reached an agreement with TikTok, allowing the social media platform to use clips from the American entertainment giant’s films and TV series in the short videos published on the Chinese platform.

In a statement, Disney clarified that TikTok will enable its content creators to use material related to hundreds of films and series produced by Disney, centered on its widely popular characters, including those derived from Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.

Disney stated that the implementation of this agreement will begin with a trial phase in the United States in the coming months, with plans to expand it later to include other countries.

Videos created by participating content creators in the program will also be published in a new section on the Disney+ platform.
