Vance: Negotiations with the Iranians are “complex and arduous and will take time” - Sarmad

US Vice President JD Vance said early Thursday that negotiations with Iran over an agreement would be “complex and thorny, and will take time,” adding that “the Iranians are extremely difficult to deal with and have a divided system.”

In an interview with Fox News, Vance added, “Our mission is to manage this situation and achieve the best outcome for the American people, as well as for the President of the United States. I believe that ultimately, despite the process being complex and taking some time, we will reach a position where, as you can see, I think oil prices were $79 today (Wednesday). Oil prices will fall and remain low, and Iran will never possess a nuclear weapon, and the United States will be in a stronger position.”

He continued, “But we are still in the midst of the process, and I think people are trying to jump ahead and prejudge how things will unfold,” as reported by CNN.

Vance’s remarks come as Iran denies holding negotiations with the United States.
