Kuwait Stock Exchange indicators diverge at the start of today's trading - Sarmad

Key indicators of the Kuwait Stock Exchange showed mixed movements at the start of Wednesday’s trading, as GFH Financial Group’s stock led trading activity.
By 9:15 a.m. Kuwait time, the “First” and “General” market indices rose by 0.46% and 0.37%, respectively, while the “Main 50” index gained 0.40%. In contrast, the “Main” index declined by 0.09% compared to Tuesday’s levels.
Trading volume reached 8.92 million Kuwaiti dinars, distributed across 36.06 million shares, with 1,740 transactions executed.
The session saw nine sectors rise, led by the technology sector with a 1.75% gain, while three sectors declined, headed by insurance with a 2.13% drop. The healthcare sector remained stable.
Sixty-eight stocks advanced, led by Warba Insurance, which rose 3.64% after reporting 2.70 million dinars in profit for the first half of the year. Meanwhile, 14 stocks declined, topped by Gulf Insurance, which fell 4.90%, and 15 stocks remained unchanged.
GFH Financial Group led trading activity with a volume of 9.1 million shares and liquidity valued at 1.60 million Kuwaiti dinars.
