Lebanese Army Seizes “Grad” Missiles Smuggled from Syrian Territory - Sarmad

The Lebanese Army announced on Tuesday that it had seized Grad rockets in the eastern part of the country, stating that they had been smuggled from Syrian territory into Lebanon.
In a post on the X platform, the army confirmed that, as a result of security monitoring of smuggling operations across the northern and eastern borders, a military unit arrested 122mm Grad rockets in the Arsal plain, which had been smuggled from Syria into Lebanon. The operation also resulted in the seizure of a pickup truck used for transporting the weapons and the arrest of two citizens linked to the smuggling network.
The army added that it conducted raids to apprehend other members of the network, seizing military ammunition and equipment. The seized items were handed over, and investigations into the detainees have begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary, with ongoing efforts to arrest the remaining suspects involved.
