Iraq denies landing of US aircraft at Ain al-Asad base - Sarmad

Iraq has denied the accuracy of circulating reports claiming that American aircraft landed at the Ain al-Asad airbase in Anbar province, in the west of the country, affirming that such claims are “completely unfounded” and not based on any official information or data.

Saad Maan, the commander of Baghdad’s Security Media Cell, stated in a press release that certain media outlets and social media platforms had disseminated news alleging the landing of American aircraft at Ain al-Asad airbase. He emphasized that these allegations are false and lack any official source.

Maan called on media outlets and social media users to exercise precision in reporting information, rely solely on statements issued by official authorities, and avoid being drawn into rumors or unverified news, in order to preserve the accuracy of information and prevent confusion.
