Amiri Decree Appoints Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi as Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior - Sarmad

(KUNA) – An emiri decree was issued today, Sunday, appointing Major General Hamad Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Munifi to the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior. The text of the decree is as follows:

“Decree No. (123) of 2026 appointing an Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior – Having reviewed the Constitution, – and the Emiri Order issued on 2 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1445 AH, corresponding to 10 May 2024, – and Law No. 23 of 1968 concerning the Police Force System, and its amendments, – and Legislative Decree No. 15 of 1979 concerning Civil Service, and its amendments, – and the Decree issued on 7 Jumaada al-Ula 1399 AH, corresponding to 4 April 1979, concerning the Civil Service System, and its amendments, – and based on the proposal submitted by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, – and after approval by the Council of Ministers, we have decreed as follows:

Article One: Major General Hamad Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Munifi is appointed to the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior.

Article Two: The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior shall execute this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
