Iraq: Armed Forces will not allow use of its territory for aggression against neighbors - Sarmad

The Iraqi government reaffirmed in a statement its commitment to ensuring that the armed forces do not allow Iraqi territory to be used as a launching pad or corridor for carrying out any attacks on neighboring countries, in line with its dedication to regional stability and the enhancement of regional security.

The statement emphasized the armed forces’ readiness to counter and thwart any attempts targeting neighboring countries within the regional context, stressing the implementation of all necessary measures to safeguard Iraq’s security and that of its surroundings.
