Bahrain: Repeated Shameful Iranian Attacks on Kuwait... A Flagrant Violation of Its Sovereignty - Sarmad

The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation today, Saturday, of the repeated, heinous Iranian attacks on civilian and vital facilities in the sister State of Kuwait, in blatant violation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and as a direct threat to the safety of civilians and residents on its territory, constituting a serious breach of the rules of international law, the UN Charter, and a flagrant violation of Security Council Resolution 2817.

In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the competence and readiness of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, which today intercepted and destroyed several hostile drones, reaffirming the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with sister Kuwait and its complete support for the deterrent measures it is taking to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity.

It stressed the urgent need for an immediate and comprehensive halt to the heinous and unjustified attacks carried out by Iran and its proxies against countries in the region, as well as to the threats they pose to maritime navigation, thereby enhancing regional and international security and stability.
