Maritime Authority: Explosion near oil tanker off the coast of Oman - Sarmad

The UK Maritime Trade Operations agency reported on Saturday that it received a report of an incident approximately 21 nautical miles northeast of Khasab in the Sultanate of Oman, in which the master of an oil tanker observed a large water disturbance and a nearby explosion. The agency stated that no reports of damage to the vessel had been received.
