Ministry of Food: Violations and destruction of 195 kg of meat during an inspection tour in Farwaniya - Sarmad

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced that an inspection round was carried out at food establishments in the Farwaniya area by the Farwaniya Food Inspection Controller, as part of the regulatory plan.

The inspection resulted in issuing a violation for trading adulterated food, and two violations for workers handling food without obtaining health certificates, as well as a violation for the employer operating a worker without a health certificate. It was also stated that a destruction report was issued for a quantity of meat weighing a total of 195.2 kilograms, and the destruction was carried out in accordance with standard legal procedures.

The Authority noted that this inspection is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of food establishments, safeguard consumer safety and health, and take legal action against violators.
