Beijing responds to targeting of a Chinese company's building in northern Kuwait: We call for restraint - Sarmad

China called on all parties concerned on Friday to exercise restraint and continue to resolve differences through dialogue and consultation, contributing to the restoration of peace and stability in the Gulf region as soon as possible, while reiterating its rejection of any attacks targeting innocent civilians and non-military facilities.

This statement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning during a press conference, commenting on the targeting of a building housing a Chinese company in northern Kuwait yesterday, which resulted in the death of one worker and significant material damage.

Xinhua News Agency quoted Mao as saying that the Chinese embassy had contacted the relevant Kuwaiti authorities following the attack on the building, emphasizing that no Chinese citizens had been harmed.
