Presidents of the UAE and Syria Discuss Regional Developments and Common Issues by Phone - Sarmad

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed held a telephone conversation on Friday with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa to discuss regional developments and issues of mutual interest, as well as fraternal relations and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides reviewed recent developments in the Middle East and the efforts made to consolidate security, stability, and peace in the region, exchanging views on these matters.

It added that both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continuing joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and broaden their scope, in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries.
