Saudi Crown Prince and Syrian President Discuss De-escalation and Strengthening Stability - Sarmad

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received a call today from Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop the prospects for joint bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.

At the outset of the call, the Syrian president reiterated his country’s condemnation and rejection of attempts by Iran-backed militias in Iraq to target petroleum facilities in the Kingdom, affirming Syria’s steadfast support for the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia.

In the same context, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop the prospects for joint bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.
