Amberi for Maritime Security: Attack with at least one drone on a US natural gas storage facility in Egypt - Sarmad

(Royters) – Ambrey Maritime Security said on Wednesday, based on an initial assessment, that a drone struck a U.S.-owned gas tanker at Egypt’s Port of Damietta on the Mediterranean Sea.
In a separate statement, Incship Port Services said fires broke out at two gas tankers at the Egyptian port.
Three trade sources familiar with the incident said the drone hit the floating storage vessel Energys Winter, causing a fire that later spread to another ship, Gaslog Salem. Two separate security sources said the cause of the explosion was a drone attack.
