Al-Qadisiyah clarifies reasons for terminating Ali Jaragh’s contract, denies any link to financial disputes - Sarmad

Al-Qadsieh Club issued a clarifying statement regarding recent social media discussions about player Ali Jarrah, emphasizing that the statement was released in fulfillment of its responsibility to clarify the facts and respond to circulating claims, while reaffirming its respect for all its players and their right to pursue their entitlements through official channels.
The club clarified that the decision to terminate the player’s contract followed a series of technical and administrative incidents, including his departure from the Super Cup match at halftime under the pretext of injury, his failure to attend the match against Al-Salmiya despite being notified by the club only hours beforehand, and his refusal to undergo a medical examination by the club’s medical staff. The club stressed that the decision was not due to any financial dispute.
The statement further noted that the selection or exclusion of players from the national team falls under the jurisdiction of the technical staff of the Kuwait Football Association, and Al-Qadsieh Club has no authority in this matter, except in cases occurring outside FIFA windows.
The club confirmed that the player received all his contractual dues during his tenure, along with special financial assistance provided in consideration of his humanitarian circumstances. It added that while the club does not typically engage in such matters, the allegations made by the player necessitated clarifying the facts for the sports community.
