His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a phone call today from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The call reviewed the close and distinctive fraternal relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples. During the conversation, several issues of mutual interest were discussed, and the latest developments on the regional and international fronts were examined, particularly concerning the current circumstances facing the region.

President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast support for Kuwait and its backing of all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security and sovereignty, invoking Almighty God to protect Kuwait and its brotherly people from all harm and evil.
