Ministry of Health launches digital vaccination appointment reminder service via 'Sahl' and 'Salam' apps - Sarmad

(KUNA) – The Ministry of Health has launched a new digital service to remind users of upcoming vaccination appointments via the government’s unified e-services application, “Sahl,” and the “Salim” application, which is operated by the Ministry of Health. This initiative is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to develop digital health services, enhance public health, and improve the quality of preventive care.

In a press release, the Ministry of Health stated that the service sends a reminder notification 48 hours before the scheduled vaccination date, as well as alerts users to any modifications made to their appointment times.

It added that the service aims to support adherence to vaccination schedules and dosage timings for both children and adults, thereby contributing to enhanced disease prevention and the preservation of individual and community health.

The ministry emphasized that the service improves the beneficiary experience by ensuring privacy, saving time and effort, and leveraging digital solutions to deliver health services.
