Iranian Revolutionary Guard: We benefited from the ceasefire period, unlike the US - Sarmad

Iranian Revolutionary Guard spokesperson Brigadier General Siamak Mahbubi stated that his country used the ceasefire period to enhance its capabilities, while the United States failed to take advantage of it.

Mahbubi said in remarks on Sunday: “We invested the ceasefire to raise our capabilities, increased the production speed and accuracy of our missiles, bolstered our military readiness, and strengthened our defensive systems.”

Mahbubi argued that the United States was unable to capitalize on the truce, adding: “If we look at the low level of U.S. oil reserves, we reach the conclusion that America failed to invest this opportunity or compensate for its oil deficit.”

Earlier today, Aladdin Boroujerdi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, said that Iran’s resilience, its military capabilities, and the speed of reconstruction “all exceeded everyone’s expectations.”

The New York Times revealed on Saturday that U.S. President Donald Trump delayed plans to escalate the military campaign against Iran, fearing the depletion of Patriot interceptor missile stocks and other air defense ammunition.
