Chief of Staff and Italian Minister of Defense discuss enhancing joint defense cooperation - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, and Italian Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto discussed ways to support and develop joint defence cooperation, reflecting the deep and close ties between the two friendly countries.

The General Staff headquarters said in a press statement on Friday that this took place during Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan’s official visit to the friendly Italian Republic, where he reviewed a number of topics and issues of mutual interest with the Italian Minister of Defence, in the presence of Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, Nasser Al-Qahtani.

The statement noted that the Chief of the General Staff and the accompanying delegation returned to the country on Friday evening following the conclusion of his official visit to the friendly Italian Republic.
