Jordan: Interception and Downward of 7 Missiles and 6 Drones Coming from Iran - Sarmad

A senior military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, stated that air defense systems and Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft shot down, on Friday, seven missiles and six drones originating from Iran that targeted the Kingdom’s territory, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

The source clarified that the interception and downing operation resulted in no human casualties or material damage, and that Royal Engineers units moved to the debris impact sites and handled them in accordance with established technical and security procedures.

The source emphasized that the Armed Forces continue to monitor the Kingdom’s airspace and maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to respond to any threat targeting the Kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens.
