Officially.. Jürgen Klopp appointed as new head coach of the German national football team - Sarmad

The German Football Association (DFB) announced on Friday the appointment of former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp as the new head coach of the German national team.

Earlier this month, DFB officials traveled to New York to hold talks with Klopp, who serves as the global head of football at Red Bull and also worked as an analyst for the German network Magenta TV throughout the World Cup in North America.

Klopp replaces Julian Nagelsmann, who resigned from his position as Germany’s head coach on July 3, 2026, following the team’s early exit from the Round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup after losing to Paraguay in a penalty shootout.
