Iranian authorities announced on Friday that US strikes hit a command center of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy in Gilan province in the north of the country, according to state media.
Ali Bagheri, deputy governor of Gilan, said, “The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy headquarters in the Zibakenar area was targeted this morning by US bombs, causing damage to part of the equipment in the complex,” as reported by the Iranian news agency IRNA.
