Minister of Electricity and Water Inspects Stations Damaged by the Unjust Iranian Aggression - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaim visited the power plants and water desalination facilities damaged by the Iranian aggression, coinciding with the rise in electrical loads during the summer season, to follow up on work progress and ensure the well-being of workers.

The ministry said in a press statement on Thursday that Minister Al-Mukhaim reviewed the operational processes at the plant during his tour and listened to explanations from officials and technicians regarding the restart of damaged units that had been shut down as a precaution.

He also heard briefings on the measures taken to ensure the continuity of electricity and water production and to maintain the stability of the electricity and water systems.

Minister Al-Mukhaim commended the significant efforts and dedication of the workers in fulfilling their national duty, calling on all staff to continue their sustained efforts during this sensitive stage in the history of the State of Kuwait, demonstrating the professionalism and patriotism of ministry personnel by shouldering the responsibilities entrusted to them, thereby contributing to the stability of the electricity and water systems and the continued provision of services to citizens and residents.

The statement noted that Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity Dr. Adel Al-Zamil also conducted a similar inspection visit to one of the plants, where he reviewed work progress and the measures taken to ensure the stability of the country’s electricity and water systems.

According to the statement, Al-Zamil emphasized that this visit aims to stand by the national cadres who continue to perform their duties efficiently and professionally under all circumstances, particularly in light of the malicious attacks that occurred last week.
