Trump: Every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay a multiple-fold price - Sarmad

President Donald Trump threatened Iran on Monday that it would pay a price “many times over” for every American soldier killed, following Washington’s announcement at the end of the week that three additional military personnel were killed and a fourth was missing in operations.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, “Every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay a price many times over,” adding that he had directed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Daniel Kane, and all military commanders accordingly.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Saturday that two American soldiers were killed and a third was missing in Jordan while responding to Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks.

In a statement, CENTCOM said, “On Friday, two U.S. military personnel were killed in the line of duty in Jordan while CENTCOM forces and partner forces were responding to Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. One additional soldier remains missing.”

It noted that “four U.S. military personnel were medically evacuated to hospitals in Jordan.”

It confirmed that they “were later discharged from the hospitals after receiving treatment, and other personnel who were evaluated due to minor injuries returned to their duties.”

CENTCOM added that it would withhold additional information, including the identities of the deceased soldiers, out of respect for their families, until 24 hours had passed since their relatives were officially notified.
