Al-Awadhi discusses with the Arab Gulf University the enhancement of health and academic cooperation - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Kuwait’s Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, held talks today, Monday, with a delegation from the Gulf University for Science and Technology in the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by the university’s president, Dr. Saad Al-Fahid, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the university and to discuss developing partnerships in health and academic fields of mutual interest.

The Ministry of Health said in a press statement that the meeting addressed prospects for cooperation in medical education, training, scientific research, capacity building, and the development of health competencies, alongside the exchange of expertise to support the quality of health services, strengthen integration between academic and health institutions, and advance health development in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The Bahraini delegation included Deputy University President Dr. Ghazi Al-Attiyah, Dean of the College of Education Dr. Waleed Zubari, and Dean of the College of Medicine Dr. Mohammed Maddin.
