Defense Ministry: The culpable Iranian aggression targeted facilities belonging to the Ministry of Electricity, resulting in fires and severe damage - Sarmad

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan, stated that the Armed Forces detected hostile ballistic missiles and drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn today, and they were intercepted and neutralized.

He added that the unjust Iranian aggression continues to target civilian and vital facilities in the country, with attacks hitting installations belonging to the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, resulting in fires and severe damage to several of its key facilities and infrastructure.

The Armed Forces affirmed their continued execution of their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, under conditions of constant readiness and preparedness, and by taking all necessary measures to protect the nation’s sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
