Israeli Channel 13: Evacuation of US aerial refueling aircraft from Ramon Airport - Sarmad

Channel 13 reported that American aerial refueling aircraft were evacuated from Ramon Airport in southern Israel following an Iranian missile strike.

The channel noted in its report that the evacuation took place after missiles were launched from Iran toward the Jordanian Aqaba region, near the Israeli border.

This development comes as the Israeli military announced it had detected missiles being fired from Iran toward the city of Aqaba, warning of the possibility of some missiles entering Israeli territory.

The military stated that if air raid sirens are activated, residents must enter protected shelters and remain there until further instructions are issued, while affirming that no changes have been made to the directives of the Home Front Command.

For his part, Jordan announced that American air defense systems intercepted three missiles, while a fourth missile fell in an open area, with no reports of casualties or significant damage.

Earlier, Israeli sources confirmed that American fighter jets would land at several Israeli Air Force bases, following the permission granted for dozens of American aerial refueling aircraft to land at five strategic sites, including: Ben Gurion International Airport, Ramon Airport, Ramon Airbase, Ovda Airbase, and Nevatim Airbase, amid the possibility of further escalation in the ongoing conflict with Iran.
