Thunderstorms disrupt Spain and Argentina training - Sarmad

(Roeters) – Thunderstorms in the New York and New Jersey areas disrupted final training sessions for Spain and Argentina on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s World Cup final.
The Spanish Football Federation said in a statement after the team’s training at the Melani Lin training center in New Jersey was canceled: “The training session has been suspended in accordance with the United States’ storm safety protocol.”
It added, “The players are currently conducting an indoor warm-up session.”
Argentina’s training session began 45 minutes late at its scheduled time in Morristown, New Jersey.
The final match will kick off at 3:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. GMT) tomorrow.
