Fire Force: Several firefighters and an oil sector worker injured after renewed targeting of an oil site - Sarmad

The official spokesperson for the General Fire Force, Brigadier General Mohammed Badr Ibrahim, announced that fire crews managed to control two fires that broke out in two different locations in the country on Saturday afternoon, following targeted attacks as part of hostile actions stemming from the unjust Iranian aggression against the country. Five fire teams participated at the first site, supported by teams from the oil sector’s fire department, while three fire teams responded to the second site.
Brigadier General Mohammed Badr clarified that fire crews immediately began firefighting and containment operations upon arrival. The incident at the first site resulted in injuries to several firefighters and one worker from the oil sector, as the location was targeted again during firefighting efforts. First aid was administered to the injured, who were then transferred to medical emergency services and subsequently hospitalized for treatment.
Brigadier General Mohammed Badr added that the General Fire Force also responded to three separate fires caused by falling debris in several residential areas, successfully controlling and extinguishing them. The damage was limited to property, with no injuries reported.
