Gulf Cooperation Council: Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan are war crimes - Sarmad

(QNA) – Sheikh Jassem Mohamed Al-Bedawi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, which resulted in strikes on infrastructure and civilian facilities and injured several civilian workers in Kuwait.

In a statement issued today, Al-Bedawi said that these attacks represent a highly dangerous escalation and a serious violation of international law and the UN Charter, emphasizing that they amount to war crimes warranting international accountability and sanctions due to the targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities, in blatant disregard of all international norms and conventions, and in a deliberate effort to destabilize the security and stability of the region.

The GCC Secretary-General stressed that GCC member states stand united alongside Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, and support all measures they are taking to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
