Deputy Minister of Health Inspects Victims of the Blameless Iranian Attack and Checks on Their Treatment - Sarmad
(KUNA) – Kuwait’s Undersecretary of Health, Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection visit today, Friday, to check on the condition of several victims of the reprehensible Iranian aggression who are receiving medical care, to assess the level of health services provided to them, and to review the progress of their treatment plans.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Health said that Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah reviewed the health status of the injured during the visit and listened to briefings from the treating medical teams on the therapeutic measures taken since their arrival at the hospital.
The Undersecretary, Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, emphasized that all medical resources and personnel are being mobilized to ensure the provision of the highest standards of healthcare and to continuously monitor the cases until their treatment is completed.
He added that medical teams in the emergency, surgery, orthopedics, and intensive care units began treating the cases immediately upon their arrival, in accordance with approved emergency plans and with a high degree of readiness and efficiency. Some of the injured underwent specialized surgical interventions, while the remaining cases continue to be monitored according to their medical needs and treatment plans.
He praised the high level of competence and professionalism demonstrated by medical, nursing, technical, and administrative staff, commending the rapid response and coordination among various departments and specialties, which reflect the readiness of the health system and its ability to handle different emergency cases with efficiency and capability.
He reaffirmed that the Ministry of Health continues to monitor all cases and provide all necessary medical care, in line with its national and humanitarian responsibilities and its commitment to delivering health services according to the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
