Kremlin: We reject all allegations of interference in the US elections - Sarmad

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russia had never interfered in the U.S. elections, in response to a question regarding U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks about vulnerabilities in the American electoral system.

Peskov added that Moscow firmly rejects all allegations of interference in U.S. elections in recent years.

On Thursday, Trump announced the immediate declassification and release of intelligence information concerning the infrastructure of U.S. elections, stating that it reveals vulnerabilities that allow for hacking, exploitation, and foreign interference, as well as the illegal acquisition by China of files belonging to 220 million American voters. He accused Beijing of seeking to undermine him in the 2020 elections.

Trump noted that the documents he ordered to be released cover five key areas of concern, pointing out that the first group relates to alleged Chinese activities that began during the 2020 election cycle.
