Annual inflation rate in the euro area falls to 2.8 percent in June - Sarmad

Official data released on Friday showed that the annual inflation rate in the eurozone fell to 2.8 percent in June, down from 3.2 percent in May, while inflation in the European Union declined to 2.9 percent, compared to 3.3 percent during the same period.

Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office, stated in a report that the annual inflation rate in the eurozone reached 2 percent in June 2025, while it stood at 2.3 percent in the EU during the same month last year.
