30 civilians and 7 military personnel killed in recent US airstrikes on Iran - Sarmad

The Iranian government spokesperson announced that 30 civilians were killed in recent U.S. attacks on the country’s south, while Tasnim News Agency reported the deaths of seven military personnel in southeastern Iran.

In a statement, the Iranian Army Ground Forces said that “early today, U.S. forces targeted a residential complex and an accommodation area belonging to a base of the Iranian Army Ground Forces in the Bamboor area with 13 missiles, resulting in the martyrdom of seven members of the Ground Forces (officers and soldiers) affiliated with the 388th Battalion in Iranshahr city, and injuring several others who are currently receiving treatment,” adding that it vowed to respond in due course.

For her part, Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani confirmed that “more than 30 civilians were martyred in the U.S. aggression against southern Iran in recent days.”

U.S. Central Command announced on Wednesday that it had completed an additional round of strikes against Iran, targeting dozens of military sites near the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s coastal areas. The command emphasized that the attacks used precision-guided munitions against Iranian missile, drone, and naval capabilities, and noted that the strikes against Iran coincided with the resumption of U.S. naval blockade operations. It added that the wave of attacks lasted seven hours, aiming to further undermine Iran’s ability to threaten commercial navigation and civilian ship crews.
