Emirates-based Al Habtoor Group gifts Mitsubishi cars to the Egyptian national team in appreciation of their historic World Cup achievement - Sarmad

The Emirates-based Al Habtoor Group announced the donation of Mitsubishi vehicles to all members of the Egyptian national football team’s delegation, in recognition of the historic achievement and the honorable performance displayed by the Egyptian squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
Khalf Ahmed Al Habtoor, founder and chairman of the group’s board of directors, announced the initiative via his social media account on X, writing: “Under the direction of the founder and chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, Mr. Khalf Ahmed Al Habtoor, the group contacted the Egyptian Football Association, and an agreement was reached to provide a car for each member of the Egyptian national team’s delegation, in appreciation of the honorable performance delivered by the team at the World Cup, which delighted millions, elevated Egypt’s name, and brought joy to the hearts of all Arabs.”
He added: “The initiative covers all members of the team’s delegation, including players, technical and administrative staff, and medical personnel, as a token of gratitude for their efforts and in recognition that success is the fruit of teamwork.”
Al Habtoor emphasized that what the Egyptian team achieved was not only an accomplishment for Egypt, but a source of pride for every Arab, adding: “Egypt’s joy today is the joy of every Arab, and the performance of this team deserves all respect. It is our duty to celebrate those who raise the Arab flag high on international stages. I wish them continued success and achievements befitting Egypt’s name and status.”
He concluded: “This gift is an expression of our love and appreciation for Egypt’s champions, who honored their country, delighted their fans, and taught every Arab a lesson in determination, perseverance, and fighting spirit. You have proven that faith, teamwork, and fighting until the final whistle are values that create achievements. The future is yours, and what you have delivered at this World Cup confirms that Egyptian football is capable of achieving further successes.”
