Israeli Broadcasting Authority: US F-22 squadron withdrawn from Ovda base in Israel - Sarmad

Israeli Channel 11 reported that the United States withdrew a squadron of F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jets from Ovda Airbase in southern Israel and returned them to U.S. territory.
According to the report, the 12-plane squadron arrived in Israel last February, just before the launch of Operation “Lion’s Roar,” and participated in aerial strikes on Iran alongside Israeli Air Force fighters.
The channel added that the squadron’s redeployment came approximately five months after its stationing in Israel. The fighters departed accompanied by aerial refueling tankers, making a brief stop in the United Kingdom before continuing their journey to the United States.
The report noted that the evacuation required extensive logistical arrangements, including the arrival of heavy military transport aircraft at Ovda Airbase to move equipment, personnel, and flight crews.
