The decision, issued by the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdulaziz Al-Marzouq, stipulates the replacement of the text of Article One of the previous decision, establishing the Appeals Committee referred to in Article 107 of the Social Insurance Law, chaired by the Head of the Legal Affairs Sector at the institution, or his deputy in his absence.
The Committee’s membership includes the Director of the Fatwa and Legal Consultations Department, or his deputy, and the Director of the department competent according to the subject matter of the appeal, or his deputy, along with a legal researcher from the institution’s Legal Affairs Sector who shall serve as the Committee’s secretary. His appointment is issued by a decision of the Director General.
The decision stipulates its publication in the Official Gazette and its implementation effective from October 20, 2026, having been issued on November 4, 2026.
