The Al-Ajiri Scientific Center announced that the third mansion of the Al-Wasm season, known as “Al-Ghifr,” begins on November 11, 2026, and lasts for 13 days, marking the start of the second half of the Al-Wasm season, during which temperatures gradually begin to decline.
In a press statement, the center said that the Al-Ghifr mansion is the seventh of the autumn mansions, characterized by a general increase in coolness, with mild weather during daytime hours.
It added that nighttime hours continue to lengthen while daytime hours shorten, and the time for the Asr prayer call reaches its earliest point of the year.
The center noted that nighttime hours exceed 13 hours, and explained that, according to the agricultural calendar, it is advisable during the Al-Ghifr mansion to plant all types of winter grains, as well as to fertilize date palms and turn the surrounding soil.
The center pointed out that one of the key features of this mansion is the beginning of winter manifestations, with increased coolness at night compared to previous periods, while remaining mild during the day. It also noted the occurrence of daytime winds, rough seas, and a drop in water temperature in the mornings.
