The General Directorate of Criminal Investigations, represented by the Ahmadi Governorate Criminal Investigations Department, carried out a joint security operation in collaboration and coordination with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in the Al-Sabahia area. The operation targeted unlicensed grocery stores operating within residential neighborhoods, as part of security efforts to apprehend violators and combat unauthorized commercial activities.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement on Thursday evening that the operation resulted in the arrest of four Asian suspects while they were working inside the non-compliant grocery stores. Meanwhile, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition issued the necessary violation notices against the non-compliant establishments and took legal measures in accordance with their jurisdiction.
