The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), in collaboration with Warba Bank, has launched the “Imtaz” application in its new digital version, a move aimed at enhancing the services and benefits provided to workers in the oil sector and improving their work experience through innovative digital solutions that enable them to take advantage of a diverse range of exclusive offers and services.
The launch took place during a ceremony held at the headquarters of Kuwait Oil Tankers Company (KOTC), attended by Oil Minister and Chairman of the KPC Board of Directors, Tariq Al-Roumi; Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KPC, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Saud; and a number of oil sector executives and Warba Bank officials.
The application serves as a unified digital platform that allows oil sector workers to access exclusive offers, discounts, and benefits provided by various commercial and service entities, as well as to stay updated on the latest events and services available to them, thereby facilitating access to these benefits and enhancing their utilization.
The launch of the upgraded “Imtaz” version aligns with KPC’s efforts to boost employee satisfaction and engagement, and to develop the work environment through initiatives that place human capital at the core of its priorities. It also supports digital transformation and expands cooperation with private sector institutions, benefiting employees and contributing to the stimulation of the local economy.
Officials praised the collaboration with Warba Bank and its contribution to the application’s development, emphasizing the importance of partnerships with the private sector in delivering innovative solutions that facilitate product marketing and provide employees with a more convenient shopping experience. This adds value for employees, supports the institution’s digital transformation agenda, and helps stimulate the local economy, given the significant purchasing power of oil sector workers in society.
For his part, Warba Bank CEO Shahin Al-Ghanim expressed pride in the partnership with KPC in developing the “Imtaz” application, affirming that this collaboration reflects both parties’ commitment to leveraging digital solutions to deliver more flexible and user-friendly services.
Al-Ghanim stressed that the development of “Imtaz” embodies their shared vision of providing innovative digital solutions focused on user needs and delivering a smoother, more convenient experience. He noted that the bank, through this partnership, aims to add value for oil sector workers and enhance their access to the services and benefits available through the application.
