Bahraini Crown Prince Affirms Special Nature of Relations with Kuwait and Commitment to Developing Them

Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed today the special nature of Kuwaiti-Bahraini relations, highlighting the attention and care they receive from the leaderships of the two brotherly countries, as well as the shared commitment to continuing their development and advancement across all fields.

During a meeting with Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, the Bahraini Crown Prince conveyed his greetings and appreciation to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and to His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, wishing them good health and well-being, and expressing wishes for Kuwait’s continued progress and prosperity.

He emphasized the depth of the fraternal and historical ties between Kuwait and Bahrain, rooted in solid bonds, close kinship, and extended cooperation, commending the level of bilateral relations and the coordination and collaboration witnessed in various fields.

The meeting underscored the importance of continued consultation and coordination between the two brotherly countries on regional and international issues of mutual interest, strengthening Gulf cooperation, and supporting the progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to realize the aspirations of its member states and peoples, alongside exploring ways to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation and to leverage opportunities available in both countries.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim expressed pride in the deep fraternal and historical relations between Kuwait and Bahrain, which are based on strong fraternal ties and extended historical cooperation, affirming the commitment of both brotherly countries to continue enhancing and developing these relations across various fields to meet the aspirations of their leaderships and peoples.

He stressed the importance of building on the cooperation and mutual understanding characterizing Kuwaiti-Bahraini relations, which strengthens partnership opportunities between the two countries and opens broader fields for cooperation in various sectors, expressing Kuwait’s appreciation for Bahrain’s support of joint Gulf efforts and the advancement of the GCC’s agenda.
