US envoy Steve Witkoff said on Monday that the United States will bring together delegations from Ukraine and Russia in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11 to discuss ending the war Moscow launched against Kyiv, post-war security agreements, and de-escalation measures.

The US official said that American negotiators would hold working-level meetings this week in Brussels with representatives from France, Germany, Britain, the European Union, and NATO to discuss “security guarantees for Ukraine, the future security framework for Europe, and economic support for Ukraine’s reconstruction.”
Ukraine and Russia remain far apart on the terms of any potential agreement, although Trump has recently intensified pressure on Kyiv to reach some kind of deal.
