Al-Arabi secured a major 3-0 victory over their traditional rivals Al-Qadsia today, Sunday, at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium in a highly anticipated derby match within the seventh round of the Zain Premier League.
The “Green” team continued its resurgence, coinciding with the return of its former and current coach, Bosnian Darco Nestorovic, who led them to their second consecutive win, raising their points tally to nine and moving them up to sixth place. They left their rivals on 12 points in third place, a position Al-Qadsia could also lose if Al-Nassr defeats Al-Shabab today.
