Deputy Minister of Defense Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshal Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah held discussions with the Deputy Minister of Defense of the friendly Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Nils Schmid, on a number of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on ways to enhance military cooperation between the two countries.
This came during Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak’s reception of the German Deputy Defense Minister, on the sidelines of his participation, representing Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Al-Salem Al-Sabah, in the 22nd edition of the Manama Dialogue for Regional Security, which was held in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain and concluded its activities today, Sunday.
It was noted that the conference is among the most prominent regional forums dedicated to discussing regional security issues in the Middle East, with the participation of numerous senior officials, decision-makers, and military leaders from various countries around the world, to discuss the most pressing security, defense, and regional challenges and to develop mechanisms for joint coordination to address them.
