Worqa Bank announced its participation in supporting and empowering the educational initiative “INNOVARTISM,” which aims to support Kuwaiti talents with autism and neurodiversity. This is achieved through sponsoring an intensive and innovative training program focused on preparing high-functioning individuals with autism and enhancing their creative and digital capabilities, thereby facilitating their integration into the labor market and future job opportunities.

This initiative aligns with Worqa Bank’s commitment to its role in social responsibility and sustainable development, its dedication to supporting national talents and enhancing opportunities for the most vulnerable groups, and its contribution to building a knowledge- and innovation-based economy, in line with governance and corporate social responsibility standards.

The core idea of the initiative is to bridge the gap between creative perception and professional performance among high-functioning individuals with autism. It features a training program that combines innovation, art, and artificial intelligence to develop participants’ skills and equip them with modern digital tools tailored to the evolving demands of the labor market.

The program offers a specialized training experience, enabling participants to learn various concepts and skills related to design thinking, arts, and content creation using AI technologies. This enhances their creative abilities and opens new avenues for them to leverage their talents in future professional fields.

The intensive training program lasted for one week, from October 25 to 31, 2026, with five hours of training per day, targeting participants who are high-functioning individuals with autism.

Throughout the program, participants received training in areas including design thinking, art principles, and AI-based content creation, providing them with an opportunity to develop their skills in a training environment that combines knowledge, application, and creativity.

The program concluded with participants receiving joint experience certificates accredited by the participating entities, including Worqa Bank and MBVISION, led by Manal Al-Gharbali, CEO and founder of the initiative, and supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in providing specialized trainers and the Autism Center.

Commenting on this context, H.E. Al-Rashid, Head of the Human Resources and Public Services Group at Worqa Bank, stated: “The initiative aims to achieve direct social and developmental impact by supporting the integration of youth with autism into the private sector workforce, while providing them with free professional and technical training opportunities.”

Al-Rashid added: “This direction reflects the importance of providing practical pathways for talents with special needs, giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and leverage their creative and technical abilities, thereby enhancing their presence and participation in the work environment.”

She emphasized that this effort is part of Worqa Bank’s vision to achieve excellence by empowering the most vulnerable groups, strengthening local partnerships, and contributing to building a knowledge-based economy and preparing innovative national talents.

Participation in “INNOVARTISM” underscores Worqa Bank’s trend toward expanding its contributions in the field of social responsibility through human-centric initiatives that empower national talents, particularly those requiring additional support and preparation to enter the labor market.

The initiative also reflects the bank’s interest in supporting national economic and creative cadres, linking social responsibility with concepts of sustainable development and innovation, thereby enhancing its role in serving society and contributing to the development of national human capabilities.

The initiative gains particular significance as it brings together art and artificial intelligence, empowering individuals with autism through a comprehensive training and developmental experience that enables participants to harness their creative abilities and leverage modern tools and technologies to enhance their skills.

The initiative is set to culminate in a media event featuring the screening of a documentary and an awards ceremony for graduates at the UN House, highlighting the experience and outcomes achieved by participants and underscoring the initiative’s emphasis on Kuwait’s role in supporting an inclusive creative economy.

Through this program, INNOVARTISM aims to present a model that integrates training, technology, creativity, and social responsibility, with a focus on transforming individual talents and capabilities into professionally applicable skills.
